Yanmar Compact Equipment to showcase complete range at BAUMA 2019
Yanmar Compact Equipment (YCE) will be exhibiting its complete range of construction equipment on its stand FN1017/2 at BAUMA 2019. In total 30 mini- and midi excavators, wheel loaders, wheeled excavators and dumpers will be presented on a 1259 sqm area. The Yanmar construction division will take the opportunity of this first-class, international event to show the construction world the growth it has achieved over the past few years. Since acquiring Terex Compact Germany GmbH in 2016, the business has continued to invest, upgrading 18% of its existing mini-excavator models and integrating new wheel loader and excavator ranges. Yanmar is fast-becoming a market leader in compact equipment.
In April, Yanmar CE will present to the world for the first time two new models of midi-excavators starting from 8 tons: the ViO82, equipped with the ViPPS2i innovative hydraulic system, and the ViO80-2PB, which will have a two piece, articulated boom. With these two new additions to our range, Yanmar will be displaying the most complete midi range on the market. The portfolio of products from the Japanese manufacturer in the 8–12 tons category allows users to find the equipment best suited to their business today. Zero- or short tail, articulated or standard boom: Yanmar now offers 7 models meeting the requirements of all types of applications (construction, landscaping, earthmoving, levelling, demolition, highways, and more).
Yanmar CE will also expand its mini-excavator portfolio with the new ViO23-6. Presented in preview during BAUMA, the new 2.3 ton mini-excavator with zero tail has the perfect balance between reduced fuel consumption, increased comfort and safety in an extremely compact package. Equipped with an adjustable undercarriage and benefiting from optimal weight distribution, the ViO23-6 provides excellent stability and very high lifting capacity.
The main themes of BAUMA 2019 will be digitization, efficiency and sustainability. The construction market is fast evolving and we are aligning our offer in terms of products and services. There is a demand from rental companies, as well as end users towards more tracking of their machine fleet. To meet this need, Smart Assist Remote, the new fleet management system developed by Yanmar gives an optimal visibility of the machine location and status using the latest telematic technology. The trend is also moving towards more sustainable machines with fewer emissions and lower fuel consumption. With the next stage of EU emissions standards for non-road diesel engines rolling-out in 2019, Yanmar has announced full compliance with Stage V requirements across its mini/midi excavator (5-8t) and tracked carrier portfolio. For the more compact, class-leading ‘-6B’ mini-excavator range (comprising the ViO50-6B, ViO57-6B and SV60-6B), Yanmar has adopted diesel particulate filters (DPF) to meet the low emission levels already required for this size category. Perfect for inner city applications, each model boasts fewer emissions and reduced fuel usage.
